NativeFileSO adds native file import and export functionality across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android to your Unity project.
- Select external files and load their byte contents.
- Export / Share files to a user-selected path / app.
- Associate file types with your app (mobile only).
- Select save and open paths (desktop only).
This project is open source. You should definitely read through the README of that GitHub repository where I explain the entire setup process in detail.
I wrote this library in order to use it in one of my own projects: Evolution.
Q: What does the "SO" in NativeFileSO stand for.
A: It can either be Save & Open or Share & Open (depending on whether you are targetting a desktop or mobile platform)
